We offer one-day and half-day live courses. Our instructor-led training programs are designed to be interactive, informative and engaging.

All courses are custom-tailored with examples of your products and services to ensure staff understand how export controls apply to your business.

We teach courses from an Australian perspective, taking into account the way that the DoD and Australian industry manage ITAR and EAR controlled assets.

Adequate training for staff responsible for your company’s trade function can help to mitigate the risk of incurring penalties and damaging relationships with your business partners. Being able to evidence that you have a strong compliance program can help to better position your company for tenders on projects involving ITAR and other controlled technology.

Live Trainings: Export Controls For Industry & Commonwealth Staff

On an annual basis, we host three to four training courses for Export Compliance Officers, Project Managers and Engineers where these professionals can obtain updated training on the ITAR, EAR and AU export controls as well as network with others in the industry.

The courses are one to three days in duration, and you may register for the day(s) that suit your needs best.

For three-day workshops, Day One offers an introduction to export controls. Day Two is advanced training on the regulations and Day three is a hands-on workshop designed for those with responsibility for managing an export controls compliance program.

Two-day courses are comprised of lecture, hands-on exercises, and workshop elements.

In 2026, the courses will be held in Henderson WA (3-Day in March) Brisbane (1-Day in August) Adelaide (3-Days in August) and Sydney (2-Days in September).

Suitable for project managers, engineers, commercial managers and SME executives responsible for managing compliance with export controls.

In these interactive workshops, you will work in teams to complete exercises and short projects, with ample time for Q&A.
