The Australian Guide to Export Controls and Best Practices is an Australian Export Controls Community of Practice initiative, created with the support and guidance of AI Group's Defence Council.

The guide was created for Australian companies, researchers and academic institutions handling defence and dual-use controlled goods and technology subject to Australian and U.S. export controls.

The guide was created by volunteer export controls practitioners in Australia for the benefit of the wider community, including SMEs with limited resources to create and manage export controls compliance programs.
